8.25 Freedom Film Series - Exclusive Showing of Freeset - Calcutta Hilton Documentary
Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EDT)
Jacksonville, United States
As part of our 8.25 Campaign, we are hosting a series of evenings at our warehouse where we will take a closer look at one of our Freedom Business Partners. To kick off this series, we will be showing a 30 minute documentary called "Calcutta Hilton" that tells the story of employees at our business partner, Freeset in Kolkata, India. You will hear how the Freeset Business is helping to end human trafficking through their social entreprenuership. After the documentary you will be able to hear more stories about Freeset from Rethreaded's founder Kristin Keen. You will have the opportunity to purchase Freeset products after the film. Come be inspired and moved when you hear the stories about how Freeset is impacting the lives of women around the world.
Tickets are a minimmum donation of $8.25. Please be sure to input at least $8.25 in the 'Amount' box above. This will include complimentary popcorn and lemonade. Wine and beer will also be available for donation. Please consider giving beyond the $8.25 to help support a woman's freedom in our own city.
There will only be room for a limited number of people to attend, so get your tickets early! Help us sew new stories right here in Jacksonville.
Use one of the amounts below for your ticket price (minimum of $8.25):
